The Vertical Lift Module: Kardex Shuttle is an automated storage and retrieval device. Instead of walking up and down aisles to retrieve items stored in shelving, stored items are delivered to you on a tray. It's an enclosed system consisting of of two vertical shelving units with an extractor device located in the center. the extractor travels vertically up and down the unit to automatically retrieve and deliver the correct trays of stored items to the access opening at the push of a button or the scan of a bar code.
